I spoke at the Spring Commencement for Troy University Dothan this past Sunday. I enjoyed my brief visit with Chancellor Jack Hawkins and Vice-Chancellor Don Jeffery. It was also special to shake the hand of each new Troy graduate. In my remarks, I recounted the ups and downs of my earlier career. I touched on my college days when I worked at the National Security Agency, my struggles as a newly minted software engineer, and my return to Houston County, Alabama. Instead of talking about “being successful,” I spoke on a topic that I strongly believe is a prerequisite to success in your personal and professional life.
We are grateful for your leadership in our Wiregrass Region!
